Dear Parents & Caregivers: Despite the recent Thanksgiving holiday passing by, I wish to take moment to express an extreme amount of gratitude and thanks for the widespread support in the passage of the referendum question to construct a new high school on the Brew farm property. When the new building opens in the fall of 2020, over 65 years will have passed since the current high school opened as a new school. It is fair to say much has changed in our community and in education over the course of this time period. Despite the considerable amount of change taking place, the new building will serve, just as the current high school does, as a hub supporting the youth of our community. Again, a huge thank you to everyone that supported this long-overdue project! (CLICK ON THE HEADLINE ABOVE TO READ MORE.)
Our 2018-2019 calendar has changed!
Due to the crazy number of snow days this year, we have changed the current school calendar as follows: Wednesday, April 24, 2019, is now a full day of instruction (not an early release day). The last day of school for students will be Friday, June 7, 2019. School will be dismissed at 12:30 (an early release). You may also CLICK HERE to view the revised calendar.
Summer school sign-up is coming!
Don't miss the fun!
Did you know that over the summer months our students can lose up to 30% of the math and reading skills they learned during the school year? The School District of Wisconsin Dells’ Summer Enrichment Program keeps students learning, avoiding this “summer slide” and reinforces our mission: Connect · Inspire · Achieve, Everyone, Every day !
The Summer Enrichment Booklets will go home with students on Friday, Feb. 22. It will also be available on the district website.
There will also be an opportunity to sign up during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Please return forms to the Spring Hill Elementary office: in person, by fax to (608) 254-6397, or mail to Spring Hill School, 300 Vine St., Attn: Jenny Kurtz, by Friday, May 3.
