    Building Expectations

We are clearly at that time of the year where we need to issue reminders and reestablish some expectations or we need to address emerging issues, especially as we continue to learn the ins and outs of our new facility. Please listen closely:

Market – We are fortunate to have The Market in our building and open to all on a regular basis. Unfortunately, not everyone is being appropriate with their items. Our night custodians have been cleaning up leftover food and messes from snacks left in the commons, the locker room, and the bathrooms. There has also been food and garbage on the ground at the bus stops and left on the buses. Simply put, if you take food from The Market, it is your job to clean up after those items. If messes and food continue to be left in the school and on the buses, then we will close the Market during 7th and 8th period. It will only be open for a short time after school.

After School – Students who drive to school and parents who pick up at the end of the day must use the main entrance drive to arrive and leave. The back parking lots and the road by the buses are not to be used by students or parents. This also applies to the maintenance driveway.

9/10 ASP – Starting today, no students may use the soft seating areas in the halls during 9/10 ASP. Each freshman and sophomore student must be inside the classroom you are assigned. Every student gets an email from Flexi every day on your student account, which lists your ASP location for the week. Check your email in the morning if you are unsure where you are assigned for the day.

    Pizza Pub Pizza Day

Pizza Pub Pizza Day is back this week, however, it is moving to Fridays. $2.50 for a delicious slice of Pizza Pub Pizza.

    Volleyball Meeting

Any girls interested in playing volleyball next fall: There will be an informational meeting on Friday during 9-10 ASP in Mrs. Janke's room.  Please ask your homeroom teacher to add you in Flexi to Mrs. Janke's homeroom or go directly to Mrs. Janke or Mrs. Hartley to be added. Juniors, please plan on attending and just bring your lunch along with you.

    Conclusion

Remember to wear your mask (covering your mouth and nose), wash or sanitize your hands regularly and distance whenever possible. Following these expectations is our best chance to stay in-person for school.
